Welcome to the website of Blessed St. Xenia of Petersburg Church in Ottawa, Canada’s capital.
We are a self-governing, semi-autonomous parish of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR). Our ruling diocesan bishop is His Eminence Gabriel, Archbishop of Montreal and Canada, and our parish rector is the Very Reverend Father Oleg Mironov.
On Saturdays, Vigil services are served at 6:00 p.m., and the Sunday Divine Liturgy is celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Weekday Vigils are served at 6:00 p.m., and Divine Liturgies at 10:00 a.m. Services are conducted primarily in traditional Church Slavonic, with some English also used.
Recommended Times for Confession
- During the All-Night Vigil (6:00–8:00 p.m.) on the evening before the Divine Liturgy
- Before the Divine Liturgy (9:00–10:00 a.m.)
- Immediately following the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy (around 11:30 a.m.)
