Sacrament of Holy Unction at the Protection of the Holy Virgin Memorial Church on March 20, 2026
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We invite the faithful of our parish to participate in the Sacrament of Holy Unction, which will take place on Friday, March 20, at 6:00 PM at the Protection of the Holy Virgin Memorial Church
(99 Stonehurst Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario, K1Y 4R6).
The Sacrament will be celebrated by His Grace, Bishop Spyridon of Toronto, concelebrating with Fr. Alexis and Fr. Oleg.
Holy Unction is a sacrament of the Orthodox Church during which the faithful are anointed with blessed oil for the healing of soul and body and for the forgiveness of sins.
Sacrament of Holy Unction at the Blessed St. Xenia of Petersburg Church on April 3, 2026
We invite the faithful of our parish to participate in the Sacrament of Holy Unction, which will take place on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Blessed St. Xenia of Petersburg Parish.
Parishioners of both parishes are invited to attend and participate in this sacred mystery.
Archpastoral Visit of His Grace, Bishop Spyridon, to Our Parish on March 21, 2026
The Parents’ Saturday Divine Liturgy – the last of this Lenten season – will be celebrated at our parish on March 21 at 10:00 AM. The service will be celebrated hierarchically by His Grace, Bishop Spyridon of Toronto, Vicar of the Canadian Diocese.
