Patronal Feastday in honor of Blessed St. Xenia of Petersburg with Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal and Canada — September 2025

On September 28, the Patronal Feast Day in honour of Blessed St. Xenia of Petersburg was joyfully celebrated at St. Xenia Parish. The Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was led by Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal and Canada, with many parishioners and honoured guests in attendance. The service was further enriched by the participation of the choir from the local St. Stefan Serbian Orthodox Church, under the guest direction of Conductor Elias Dubelsten.

During the Liturgy, Archbishop Gabriel ordained a new deacon, Eugene Karpov—an active and devoted member of our parish—who will now assist our Rector, Father Oleg, in his ministry. Following the service, a Cross Procession was held around the church, uniting the faithful in prayer and reverence.

The celebration concluded with a festive luncheon in the Elisabeth L. Skok Parish Hall, lovingly prepared by our dedicated Sisterhood and Brotherhood. The day was blessed with clear blue skies and warm autumn weather, further uplifting the spirit of gratitude and community.
